here is ehcp deb/ubuntu package – somebody may help to submit to Ubuntu repositories
I have no time to do this, as ubuntu package submission seems quite complicated.

file attached, including a small script to build the deb package again.
note that, the deb contains only an installer that should be called after deb install.
